Tonight's post (and this series) was inspired by a "one-day-I-hope-to-meet" Inspired Workshop attendee and her idea to share gratitude with others during the holiday season. Bloggers are committing to listing 20 things they're grateful for over the course of one week (no duplicates). If you'd like to participate, leave a comment letting me know, so I can check out all the positives in your life as well. And Happy (almost) Holidays!
In no particular order ...
1. My immediate family has managed to avoid the nasty flu so far
2. I can watch my kids fall sleep on our video monitor
3. A heat bill that just dropped substantially since we've made a conscious effort to turn the lights off, wash all laundry in cold water, and regulate the thermostat
4. I have another day to spend with my kids tomorrow before returning to work and school
5. My husband is currently spending some much needed time with the boys
6. Which means, I get a couple of hours to craft! :)
7. A dedicated space in which to craft
8. Food in my pantry
9. Beer in my fridge
10. Kids currently asleep so I can enjoy that very elusive beer
11. Ideas for new pots I'd like to create
12. Being a part of a great pottery class with a new instructor (thanks Julie!)
13. A nice new computer
14. Learning how to make some digital scrapbooking elements on my computer
15. My incessant desire to learn
16. Reconnection with an old friend who gave me a lot to think about (thanks Debbie!)
17. A job that helps pay the bills
18. Hobbies that keep me sane
19. Great customers on Etsy that keep me motivated
20. Making some new friends (hopefully) during this Gratitude project
