Ok, so it's not really the WWAMD diet anymore. It's: lace up your running shoes and hit the pavement. Anyone who knows me would scoff at this - Paula: RUNNING? Say it ain't so. But it's true. I've been running 5 times per week, thanks to my day job colleagues and our "Brand, Sweat & Tears" team. The scale isn't moving as quickly as I had hoped, but I'm proud to say that this morning was my lowest weight in a while. Woot!
{insert quick shout-out to Dexter at Run for Your Life in Stonecrest. Go there if you're planning on starting running or need some new kicks. They're pretty cool, even if they do pick on you for trying on like 3 dozen shoes in an hour}
Our team started running intervals on May 29, so it's been about 6 weeks. Coach Maghan set us up a plan where we increase our intervals each week; we run together as a group on Fridays after work. End goal: The Greek Festival 5K on August 29. My first 5k!!
My friend Tonya is running too (another WOOT!), and we were comparing playlists this morning. Figured I would share with all 6 of my readers. :)
This week is my 8/1x3 (Run for 8 minutes, walk for 1, times 3). I used my snazzy new iMac to create a podcast of my music, and my voiceover that alerts me when to slow down for my walk, and when to speed back up. Plus, I can insert a little 'inspiration' to myself at the end congratulating myself on a run well done. Cheesy, check.
Sugarland: All I want to do
Sugarland: It happens
Darius Rucker: Alright
Kelly Pickler: Best Days of your life
Leona Lewis: Bleeding Love
Black Eyed Peas: Boom Boom Pow
Zac Brown Band: Chicken Fried
Miranda Lambert: Famous in a Small Town (while stretching)
What's on your playlist right now? What song gets you moving when you have no more energy left?

Thanks for sharing your play list with me!
The husband would be so incredibly jealous if he knew you have a new iMac! He's been looking at them, thinking about buying one and basically stalling till our desktop croaks! I think he wishes it would just die so he can buy a Mac but it keeps hanging on! :D
Glad to hear an update on your running Paula. I am in week 3 and some days it feels good and some days it sucks. :) Just made a new playlist this weekend.
Sober - Pink
Control Myself - J Lo and LL Cool J
If I Were a Boy - Beyonce
Love Like This -Nat. Bedingfield
Low - Flo Rider
Revolution - Kirk Franklin (this one is a really good pump you up song)
Safe a horse - Big and Rich
Hollarback Girl - Gwen Stefani
Sexyback - J T
Clumsy - Fergie
Tonya: haha - our computer finally died (and took with it some very valuable docs unfortunately), but it did give us the opp to get the Mac, which I LOVE!
Teresa: Thanks for sharing your tunes, and for keeping up with it. I downloaded some of these which I didn't have and am adding them into my playlist.
Keep it up girls!
