Weekend Recap

Great weekend family-style.

Saturday was Owen & Mommy morning with a trip to the farmer's market.  Check out the loot for only $8.  {flowers were $10 and I'll never buy poppies again}

Home and to the pool - Owen had a blast playing with all the other kids' toys, and Kate just enjoyed her first dip in the water.  Met some new neighbors ... left by 11:45 just when it was starting to get busy.

Afternoon was spent at a friend's 3rd birthday party at New Town Fire Dept - so very cool.  Owen got to play on the trucks and chat with the firemen while Kate snoozed it up in the sling.  The firemen were totally impressed with his interest {obsession} with ladders.

Saturday night Owen and I hammed it up while KW went to a fundraiser uptown.  

Today we ran some errands, got KW a new iPhone, and just enjoyed the day.  I finally snapped some pics of the new vases, but as one is a {belated} wedding gift that I haven't even wrapped yet, I'm hesitant to post them just yet.  Will hopefully get that sucker to the recipients before they celebrate their one-year-anniversary!
